Learn the top 5 rules the voice behind 'Found, Now Home' swears by for conveying her unique style...via her closet.
Leigh is one of those women with style that makes you wonder - how does she make it all look so easy? She manages to author an exquisite vintage-inspired blog, contribute to publications like the UK's 91 Magazine, and mother a 3-year old...all in flawlessly unique style. High-five, Leigh! And thanks for sharing your top-5 style tips below.

1. Comfort is a top priority. I think people look more confident if you can tell they are comfortable in their clothes. 2. Shop sales wisely. When shopping sales and thrift stores, I ask myself, "if this was full-price, would I really want it or do I just want it because it's inexpensive?" If the answer is yes, I'd get it if it was full price, then I get it. The cute red dress (above) was an end-of-season Urban Outfitters score last year. Love it! Also, end-of-season sales are the best time to buy shoes - you just have to wait a few months to wear them! 3. Buy 2 if you REALLY love it. 4. Invest in good jeans. I have never seen a pair of cheap jeans that look great! 5. Shop independent or thrift to add some individuality. The classic tweed cape (above) was purchased from an indie-boutique, is comletely unique and adorably granny-chic.
Thanks for the tips! Click to see more, including Leigh's best thrift-store find ever, her favorite hand-crafted jewelry from beehivestyle, and a few home accents and decor picks, too!

Want to add a little love and style to this year's Valentine's Day gifts? Wrap it Furoshiki style!
All of us at BeehiveStyle think that how you give a gift is as important as what you give! It sets the mood, sends signals about how much thought and care you put into your gift and overall it just enhances the experience. Furoshiki is a Japanese way of wrapping that uses cloth instead of paper. It's a stylish way to wrap a unique gift in an eco friendly way that reduces waste and adds another layer of charm to your gift. If you're a fabricophile like me you're always looking for fun ways to use all the great fabric designs out there!
So, it's easy... here's how!

1. Gather up your gift, a piece of square fabric to fit, some ribbons and any extra's you think might be nice to embellish the gift with at the end. Don't have any fabric? Here are a couple of resources we recommend!
Hawthorne Threads pre-cuts - Get a wide variety of pre-cat fabric that you can have on hand to use. Get some pinking shears and you'll have a lovely edge for your wrapping anytime.
Furoshiki.com - Already cut and prepared Furoshiki wraps.
Studio Patro - Fabulous linen tea towels that are perfect for wrapping Furoshiki style!
2. Cut a square large enough to fold over your box, you want at minimum 5" of fabric leftover at the corners to tie at the top.
3. Wrap up the side edges.
4. You can tie a ribbon around the middle to secure it and add a bit of color (this is optional). Fold in the corners on the remaining sides and pull the two sides up together and tie in a knot at the top of the gift. I've incorprated the ribbon into the final knot.
5. Voila, your're done. Easy. Add your gift tags or embellishments if you want and happy gift giving!

I love this Paulina Carcach handmade belt but even I wasn't sure how to style it...
So I slept on it for a few nights and last night inspiration hit! Spring and summer were all about stripes so I grabed one of the striped tops I bought at J.Crew last year and layered it with this great simple long open sweater I've had for ages. Then I cynched it together with the Paulina Carcach belt that I love so much. Topped off with a new Nature Girl Design pendant that we will be introducing next week and VOILA... a chic, easy to wear ensemble that goes great with jeans and high boots as a transition into spring! Want to see another ensemble I dreamed up using this unique accessory... check out beehiveSyle on facebook!

Virtual decorating with beehiveStyle and Pinterest!
My sister is currently transitioning her 2-year old son into his first big boy room, and using Pinterest to gather her design ideas for the project. Sara's got a great retro decorating style that she balances well with modern touches - like crisp lines and bright pops of color. Unique vintage finds are scattered throughout her house, and this big-boy room will follow suit! Sara's planning on combining a cheery palate with fun retro themed toys, unique art and vintage-inspired throw pillows a la the video below. Good luck with your project, Sara!
