Beehivestyle designer Christina Kober has always been surrounded by the jewelry industry: her father owned an Atlanta area jewelry repair shop that eventually expanded into a thriving jewelry supply store. Naturally, Christina grew up in that shop, surrounded by and educated in the tools of the trade. Upon entering college at South Carolina's Clemson University, her original plan was to run as far away from the jewelry industry as possible! However, upon graduating from college and working the corporate grind for a few years at Nike, Christina found herself in need of an artistic outlet. It wasn’t long until this handcrafted jewelry designer at heart found herself back home in Atlanta, surrounded by family. These days, she splits her time between working for her father at his jewelry supply store…and working away in her own studio, happily creating beautifully sentimental wearable works of art.
