Made in NYC, Jo handbags’ chic utility comes from the pairng of timeless design and industrial, tough fabrics. Fabrics like burlap, canvas, woven vinyl and boot leather. The line’s style gravitates to a look that's classic, but rough around the edges - raw cut leather and external stitching are some of the design details that the bags are known for. Jo handbags are the culmination of the efforts of three friends: Dee, Delia and Wendi. Dee's an interior designer who loves to design furniture in her spare time. One creative, sleepless night, she started designing bags and hasn't stopped since. Her sensibility of cool, tough girl from the Bronx with a love of classic style is reflected in the bags. Delia, a veteran ad exec and Wendi, a fashion designer, recognized Dee's unique take on handbags and in 2010 the three partnered to create Jo custom handbags.
