Paulina Carcach grew up watching her grandfather and father work with leather, making cowboy boots by hand. This early education provided her with a wealth of knowledge regarding leather: it’s characteristics, how to treat it, and how to design with it. Leather can be very soft, yet sturdy at the same time. It can be elegant and casual. Integral bits of knowledge Carcach uses to handcraft and skillfully design her present-day line of elegant and sophisticated leather totes and wallets.
